My Dancing Amber…

Yesterday afternoon Angela and I went to a Mexican restaurant to listen to the Bogart’s play. Angela’s brother plays the drums. Since they played at a restaurant instead of a night club we decided to bring Natalie and Amber along. Amber had a blast. She danced with Angela, then me and finally with Natalie. She danced like she was auditioning for Dancing with the Stars and when the song ended and a new one started she would ask if she could do it again.

On the way home from the restaurant she sat in the back seat just a yapping. Finally she said, “Did you see how everyone tried to dance like me. I dance good!” A legend in her own mind, but that’s okay because she had a great time.

Still reading Dreadful Skin by Cherie Priest and it is fantastic.

Jaws by Peter Benchley
Jaws by Peter Benchley arrived yesterday from Easton Press. I’ve never read it before, but if it is half as good as the movie it should be awesome. The only other Peter Benchley book I’ve ever read was The Island and that was a great read.
